Shout-outs can take many forms: a voice cast from a mountain summit, a personal note left on the windshield of a little Honda.
Feeling full of accomplishment after hiking Maine’s two highest mountains, the note from Ranger Colony made my day even more special.
Receiving that personal shout-out reinforced my faith that words do make a difference in the world and in the lives of those we honor.
